Hello fellow Bravenet readers, I just wanted to make a quick post to let everyone know I am very touched by the amount of people who stopped by for my birthday. I know I havn't been a very active member lately, but this is actually a good thing in my case. I have rejoined the working world after nearly 10 years of recovery from a near fatal motorcycle wreck. Now that I am a part of the outside world again, I find my time online is spent fixing people's pc's for extra dosh ( that's cash for you Americans) At work I spend 8 hours a day looking at a computer screen, so when i come home, it is not as likely I will be surfing the net, unless I need to research something to do with fixing a pc. I will make an effort from time to time to check in with folks and see how things are out here in cyber land, but for the time being I am enjoying the "real world". Thanks for keeping Blu occupied though, as she is at home still, and the net does keep her company.I am off to bed now, the office is calling on me early these days.Peace to all.

I've been reading a bit about the crusades lately (as part of a book about the Templars). Unfortunately the book was not nearly as good as it could have been. I'm now trying to find a particular book about Eleanor of Acquitaine.
